Hello, I do not know you or your family, I happened across your web-site and the video had me in tears. I had a kidney transplant on Aug. 21, 2008. My second chance at life. Your little girl is beautiful and I know God and the Angels are taking great care of her. Keep faith in God and you'll see her again. Just wanted to express my sympathies to you and your family. I can only imagine the emotion it brings you each time you watch it as I found myself brought back to those times when I saw pictures I recognized from your earlier postings, both the happy times and the times when my heart ached hoping she would get better. I still think of your family and Sidney every day. I say to myself often, "Remember what you learned from Sidney" when I find my patience growing weary from everyday challenges of parenting. It is like you said, you need to be thankful for every day and I need to be thankful for all the time I get to spend with my girls, both the good times and those that try my patience. Sidney's lesson will always be with me.
I appreciate you keeping us posted on how you are doing, as I really want the best for you and your family. I hope Sam enjoyed her first day of school and that Summer enjoyed her first day back. My best to you all.

There hasn't been a day that I haven't thought about Sidney or your family. The video is SO incredible!! I have watched it a couple of times and each time gets a little easier. I am overcome with emotion watching the video. The link came thru email tonight, and it made me realize my problems are pretty small in comparison to the emotions all of you must be still working through.
I knew that there had to be a connection to Miss Sidney and myself. Oct 6 had to be a special day...her christening perhaps..Well it is also my birthday, and I will never forget her and will always celebrate with her in my heart on that day. Please thank Rick's mom for sharing the information with me, so that I could share Miss Sidney's lifes journey through your pictures and journaling. God Bless that special angel.
